The OYSTAR A+F TwinLine surpasses conventional robot technology by offering the flexibility required of today’s end-of-line packaging systems, overcoming the limitations of standard robots, which are often limited to being capable of handling either heavy loads at a low cycle rate orvery limited loads at a high cycle rate.
The combination of speed and flexibility are critical features. OYSTAR A+F‘s latest development, the TwinLine twin-axis robot, will meet all of these requirements. The innovative mechanical design of the gripper arm drive, with two pairs of identical drive
linkages manufactured from lightweight carbon fibre, driven by two servo-drive motors, enables Pick & Place movements of less than 0.5 sec and the handling of loads of up to 63 kg at a cycle time less than 2 sec. These are ratings which make the TwinLine twin-axis robot most suitable for meeting the sophisticated demands of today‘s packaging industries. Whatever the configuration, the TwinLine robot adapts exactly to the customers‘ specific requirements. Either a suction or a mechanical gripper system, with additional tilting, turning or pushing capabilities, combined with a scanning unit, enable precise product orientation thus providing optimum production presentation and handling features.
